Realizing I should have posted the August birthday babies last month, I decided to honor them along with the September fur babies. Better late than never?
August Fur Baby Birthdays
Jessie is a sweet Pointer Mix that lives with her family that includes two other dogs, Bandit and Mitzi, and two cats, Sister and Wiley. Bandit loves running all over the large ranch sized property provided by her pet parents. Please join me in wishing her a happy 4th birthday!
Bella Rose is a wonderfully special cat that also lives with a lot of other furry friends (two cats and two dogs). Bella may only have three legs, but she is beautiful both inside and out. Besides her unique coloring, she has this amazing and loving personality. Bella is a small cat which simply adds to her cuteness. One of her favorite activities is to watch birds out of the front window of the house. Happy 3rd Birthday Bella Rose!
Rocky is an adorable Australian Shepherd Mix that just turned 4 years old. Besides spending time playing in the backyard which he accesses through his doggie door, he loves to get a lot of love, petting and affection. In addition to his pet parents, Rocky also shares his home with a wonderful cat named Ginger. The two get along fine, but Rocky pretty much stays out of Ginger’s way. Smart dog!
Ginger is a sweet light fawn tabby who is quite personable. Then again, maybe she just wants her breakfast and dinner as she will follow you around and stay in your face until you spoon out her wet food. Actually, she is a pretty social cat even after she has been fed. Ginger also does a good job tolerating her canine Brother Rocky. Ginger just turned a spry 15 years old! Happy Birthday Ginger!
Gabby “Gabs” is a darling Shih Tzu who just celebrated her 15th Birthday! At her age Gabs has a little trouble hearing and has a little arthritis in her back legs, but gets along really well. At her age she tends to sleep a lot. If I live to be around 77 years old, I hope to be faring just as well and to also get plenty of rest! Happy Birthday precious Gabby!
Peach is a cute yellow Tabby celebrating her 6th birthday. She is a little shy and does not like being antagonized by her 1 year old Corgi sibling Rocket who probably thinks she is a dog and does not understand why she does not want to play. In addition to her human family and Rocket, Peach also shares the house with two other cats and two other dogs! Sometimes she even has to deal with four dogs depending on who is visiting.
Another Ginger celebrating a birthday is a West Highland Terrier who just turned 12. At her advanced age Ginger has some trouble hearing and seeing, but still loves to spend time running around her huge backyard. She is a very special dog with a lot of love.
Katniss (named after the book/movie character) is a beautiful orange and white Tabby. Even though she just celebrated her 9th birthday, she does not act like a cat that has lived potentially half of her life. In addition to being quite energetic, Katniss is one of the most socially outgoing cats I have had the pleasure of caring for and being around. She is simply put, a really awesome cat who also happens to love the camera. Katniss shares her house with her human family and a really sweet Pit-Collie-Cane Corso Mix named Bucky.
Noelle is a lovely Pit Bull who was rescued into a wonderful forever home. Noelle breaks the Pit stereotype as she is tremendously affectionate and quite possibly one of the most submissive dogs I have ever met. Noelle’s pet parents did a great thing in providing her a forever home as she was skin and bones when they adopted her. In addition to her pet parents, Noelle shares her home with two other dogs. Happy 4th Birthday Noelle!
Sassy is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who likes to split her time between the house and the great outdoors. She celebrated her first birthday with her other companions, an orange male Tabby and a huge sweet female German Shepherd.
Ms. Lemon is a really cute and affectionate Beagle who just celebrated her 4th birthday. She absolutely loves attention and will crawl in your lap to give kisses. She also will cry a lot if you are not making her the center of the universe. This can be difficult at times as she lives with two other dogs who need love too. Ms. Lemon may be cute and give a lot of love, but is no angel. You see, she likes to dig holes in the backyard and under the fence, sometimes escaping. That is why one has to keep a sharp eye on her when in the backyard.
Ruthie just turned 11 in August. She lives with two other dogs, one of whom is Ms. Lemon. Ruthie is a little shy and slow to warm to people as she is very protective of her pet parents and their home. Once she get to know you however, she is an absolute doll who loves belly rubs! The only thing is that Ms. Lemon sometimes gets jealous and tries to interrupt.
September Fur Baby Birthdays
Wilbur, who just turned 12, is one of the coolest cats (no pun intended) on the planet. As you can see, he is not a small guy and loves to eat pretty much anything and everything including dog food. That is why you have to watch him when feeding the two dogs he lives with. That is also why he has his own electronic feeder that only he can access. The other two darling cats he lives with also have their own electric feeders. Otherwise, I am sure Wilbur would eat their food too!
TJ is a cute Boxer who just celebrated his 6th birthday. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with people as well as the other three Boxer’s he shares the house with. In addition to his human and canine family, TJ also lives with an adorable bunny rabbit, although he stays in a room away from the doggies. Happy Birthday TJ!
Hotrod is a sweet old soul who just celebrated her 16th birthday! At her age she tends to not move around a lot and simply stays in one place. I can’t say that I blame her. She has certainly earned the right to do as much or as little as she desires. Happy Birthday Hotrod!
