Sophie became spoiled and had very little training, but as mentioned before, she was equally bursting with affection and was deeply loved by my mom. Sadly, my mom eventually developed dementia. We needed to make sure Sophie was being let outside, fed, and getting proper attention. That's when Joseph and Longview Pet Sitting entered our lives. From the very beginning he did an amazing job getting to know not just Sophie, but also my mom. She and Joseph developed a great friendship during his visits to care for Sophie. As her dementia progressed, Sophie became very anxious and could become quite difficult to handle. Joseph was always incredibly patient, understanding, and gentle. He understood the tight bond my mom and Sophie had and how important that closeness was for my mom's failing mind. He would always brainstorm different techniques to facilitate an enjoyable and fulfilling environment for both of them. Although we frequently couldn't be there, my family knew that Sophie was well cared for and that we could completely trust Joseph's opinions and suggestions. Unfortunately my mom is no longer with us, Sophie is with another family member, and we don't use Joseph's services as often anymore. But unquestionably he will always be who we turn to when we need a pet sitter. Sophie was a huge part of the equation for my mom's care and happiness. Joseph strengthened their bond and removed the worry of Sophie's care from our shoulders. For that we are eternally grateful."

With a health issue that makes walking my dog difficult, I reached out to Joseph and set up walks for Luke three times a day seven days a week. He and his team spend time with Luke and make sure that he gets the exercise that he needs. Longview Pet Sitting has walked Luke now for over a year and I’m very happy with the service and care that is given to Luke. At times, I have also had Longview Pet Sitting stay with Luke for several hours while I was away from home to lower his stress level. We used to go on vacation and I could not enjoy myself because I was worried about my puppies. We tried boarding them and having friends look after them and were never satisfied. Enter Joseph.... He walked in the house and we immediately knew he was the man for the job, his face lit up and his voice went up two notches when he saw and greeted the girls. I am so thankful we found Longview Pet Sitting. They have come to our home to care for our 2 dogs and 3 cats numerous times, and I never have to worry. Our feeding instructions are followed, litterboxes are cleaned, and the dogs get outside time and play time. They are very thorough and very loving to our furbabies. We always get an email with details of the visit, with photos of everyone included. They even bring the mail in and take care of the trash, if needed. I can’t say enough good things about them. I wouldn’t trust my furbabies with anyone else.

We have a family member living in Assisted Living. This service has been a blessing! Joseph and Juliet are very professional and knowledgeable about the animals they take care of. Before starting the service, we met. They asked all of the important information to keep in their file; breed/age/health concerns/vet/contact information. We also discussed the family member they would be seeing each day. I receive 2 emails per visit. The first one announces the arrival. The second email is a summary of the visit. These are detailed summaries; comments on the weather, her “potty habits”, her general disposition during their visit. Pictures are attached as well. They have gotten to know her so well, that I trust they would know if anything were “off” with her.They have also been very helpful with our family member. Communication is wonderful! We had to experiment in order to come up with a way to keep our elder from over feeding the dog during the day. We have a great system now. This service has helped us keep the dog with her owner…they have a special bond. It would have been sad to have to take her away from him. We highly recommend this service to anyone! 5 out of 5 🌟
