The famous feline Grumpy Cat has recently been spotted hanging out with some former Presidents at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington, D.C. As we near the end of the 2016 general election in our country (a relief for many no doubt), I thought this post might serve as a more positive and fun view of U.S. politics.
Grumpy Cat is reported to be brushing up on her American history as she stopped by the famous museum to unveil her very own wax “cat” rendition. Following her historic Broadway appearance, as posted by Kelli Bender on People Magazine pets and reported via Pet Sitters International, Grumpy Cat decided to get some advice from the wax versions of America’s former leaders. Perhaps we may see a Grumpy Cat run in the future?
Cat of All Trades
Ronald and Nancy Reagan seem to support a Grumpy Cat candidacy in 2020.
Kennedy Kat
The ragdoll kitty blends right in with one of the country’s most famous first families.
I Am Not A Crook
Fortunately, Grumpy Cat has no skeletons (mice or otherwise) in her closet. That said, she is open to any tips former President Nixon has to offer.
Back to Basics
It is said that Grumpy Cat does not like all the courtesy talk. For example, George Washington once proclaimed, “Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.” It was reported by TMZ that Grumpy is warm to the idea of being “intimate with few.”
FDR & Grumpy Cat?
Some research and creativity were used to provide comments on this picture as People Magazine referenced a picture not of FDR, but of Grumpy Cat with LBJ and Lady Bird. Interestingly, there were numerous pets in the FDR household throughout his tenure at the White House, all dogs.
