This has to be my favorite Google algorithmic error yet. It is bad enough that you can not even find Longview Pet Sitting’s Google business listing (including Longview Pet Sitting’s 20 reviews) when typing in “Longview Pet Sitting,” but trying to locate the business listing via Google Maps is a joke. A list of businesses that show up in Google Maps before Longview Pet Sitting when typing “Longview Pet Sitting” into the search bar are as follows:
Results 61 – 80
- Staybridge Suites Longview
- La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Longview North
- Drug Emporium #200
Results 81 – 100
- Saltgrass Steak House (I am pretty sure pets are not allowed in the restaurant.)
- McAlister’s Deli (nor this one)
- Terminix
- Buffalo Wild Wings (Yeah, I could see why the Google algorithms would confuse this one with Longview Pet Sitting.)
- Five Guys (As well as this one. Hey, Five Guys has an “i” as does Longview Pet Sitting!)
Results 101 – 115

Subsequently, all of Longview Pet Sitting’s zip codes have been included in the Longview Pet Sitting Google business profile. Google even created a map around Longview based on those codes. Someone needs to tell the algorithms.
