On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 Longview Pet Sitting, LLC held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Longview Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its official opening and offering of services to the greater Longview, Texas area. The event was attended by a number of chamber staff, chamber members representing the Ribbon Cutting Committee, my Wife Juliet (and co-owner of Longview Pet Sitting), my parents and best childhood friend who resides in Longview.

After Juliet and I set up a table with some light lunch items and refreshments, family, friends and fellow members of the chamber assembled for the ceremony. At 11:30 am Olivia Secord-Giddings of Farmers Insurance representing the Longview Chamber of Commerce REACH Team introduced Longview Pet Sitting, LLC and allowed Juliet and I to briefly talk about our business and the services offered. This was followed by another REACH Team member reading and presenting me with a letter of welcome from the Mayor of the City of Longview. Finally, before officially cutting the ribbon, a third chamber team member presented me with a plaque. The giant scissors are not just for show as they are actually pretty sharp.
